Choosing Your Path

Students majoring in biology pursue a rigorous curriculum that includes required courses in chemistry, physics and mathematics.  In consultation with an advisor, students choose the appropriate sequence of biology courses.

• Teacher Education in Biology
• Pre-Physical Therapy
• Pre-Veterinary Medicine
• Pre-Wildlife Management
• Pre-Medicine
• Pre-Forestry
• Pre-Dentistry
• Forensic Science
• Pre-Optometry
• Pre-Physician Assistant
• An interdisciplinary degree in Environmental Sciences is also available

Several of the pre-professional areas require a bachelor's degree before acceptance into a professional degree program at another institution, all students are encouraged to pursue work in one of our biological science majors.
