Students enrolled in the NKU Department of Chemistry receive high-quality instruction and have access to modern facilities and equipment that are essential to the learning process.
We offer several programs of study, including a Bachelor of Science degree that meets requirements for American Chemical Society certification. Fulll-time faculty members conduct lecture and laboratory courses at every level.
Our base of operation is the Dorothy Westerman Herrmann Natural Science Center that has separate laboratories for general, organic, analytical, inorganic, physical, and biochemistry. Students receive extensive training in a wide variety of major chemical equipment used in education, industry, and research.
Our students have gone on to graduate study at leading universities and medical colleges. Others are employed in industry and education in Greater Cincinnati and throughout the country.
