Political Science, Criminal Justice and Organizational Leadership Internships

Gain Experience and Build Networks

Would you like to gain experience working in your future profession, build professional networks or possibly secure employment upon graduation? Then you should consider an internship for academic credit in your major or minor.

The  Department of Political Science, Criminal Justice and Organizational Leadership has established internship opportunities with over one hundred agencies in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region. Internships are an ideal way for students majoring or minoring in political science, criminal justice, international studies or public administration to refine their skills and gain knowledge regarding "real-world" organizational practices.

Internships have been completed in government agencies at local, state and federal levels, nonprofit organizations and the private sector. In some cases, successful completion of an internship has resulted in job offers after graduation.

Organizational Leadership students interested in pursuing a leadership practicum should email Orgleadership@nku.edu for details.
