World Languages and Literatures
If you're interested in learning the language and exploring the culture of other countries, we have a wide range of choices for you.
The Department of World Languages and Literatures offers courses in 10 languages with Bachelor of Arts degrees available in French, German and Spanish and a minor available in Chinese Studies.
Our list of language courses includes:
Arabic Chinese French German Italian
Japanese Korean Latin Russian Spanish
Students who complete a major in a language with teaching certification will
be in high demand for jobs in education.
Learning a language can also enhance opportunities in other professions.
Companies based in the U.S. are doing business with foreign customers
in what has become a worldwide economy.
